SURRENDERING TO JESUS
We are so glad you're here, discovering who Jesus is as you take the next step in your faith. Following Christ means that Jesus is your Savior and your friend; He extends an invitation for you to get to know Him personally. Being a Christ follower is not based on how good you are, but it is based on who Jesus is and what He has done for you through His life, death and resurrection.
God's Intent
Peace and Life
The Bible tells us that God desires to be in a relationship with us and give us a full life. The life He desires to give us includes such things as peace, purpose and fulfillment. God originally had this kind of relationship with man in the Garden of Eden.
The Problem
Our Separation
God did not create humankind to be robots who would automatically love Him in return - He gave man the freedom of choice. Man chose to disobey God and go his own way (SIN). This resulted in the separation between God and man. The result of this separation is death. (Romans 6:23)
The Solution
God's Bridge
People have tried many ways to bridge the gap between themselves and God - being a good person, acting religious, and living a moral life have all been part of an attempt to bridge the gap. The Bible tells us that none of these will work! (Proverbs 14:12)
God Provided the only way - the cross. Jesus Christ died on the cross and rose from the grave. He paid the penalty for our sin, bridging the gap between God and people. (Romans 5:8).

Our Response
Receive Christ
Jesus Christ has made it possible for us to cross over the gap to God's side and experience the full life he wants us to have. But, we must take action! Only by accepting God's free gift can we be saved (John 1:12).
YOU CAN RECEIVE CHRIST TODAY.
The Bible says if we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead, we will be saved (Romans 10:9).

Admit
Admit that you are a sinner in need of a Savior.
Acknowledge
Acknowledge that Jesus' death and resurrection is the only way to eternal life.
Accept
Accept Jesus into your life.
