Harmons, Jamaica

April 4 - 11, 2021 (during Spring Break)
Info Meeting is October 13 at 12:30 p.m.
The last day for registration is Sunday, October 13, so get signed up now!
What We Will Do
During the trip in Jamaica, we will assist with building 1-2 houses for needy families. We will also be working in the community thrift shop, visiting the infirmary, helping in schools, and interacting with Jamaicans through other serving opportunities and nightly community social time. You may get dirty and be tired throughout the week, but you will be making a difference and you will leave having made great relationships with Jamaicans!

Cost of the Trip
If you participate in fundraising, we can usually help you raise 50% - 80% of your cost!  The trip will cost $1800 plus luggage fees. The cost includes airfare, food, lodging, ground transportation, construction supplies for building houses, 1 night at a resort hotel in Montego Bay and wages for Jamaican workers.

Age Requirements
For the Jamaica trip students at least 16 years old may attend without parental supervision as a part of our student ministry. Students 13-15 years old may attend but must be accompanied by a parent. 11-12 year olds can come with a parent after approved through an interview process.

Is Training Required?
For Jamaica all participants will need to attend training and preparation meetings during the months prior to departure. These meetings will provide you with all the information necessary to help you prepare for the trip and the resources to have the largest impact possible while in Jamaica. The meeting schedule will be announced after the team is formed.
