SUPPORT GROUPS

Celebrate Recovery

With worship, practical teaching, caring and confidential small groups, and a community of people rallying to support each other, Celebrate Recovery has helped thousands of people find freedom from addictions. This isn't just another 12-step recovery program, this is an experience that can lead you to hope, healing, and recovery. Regardless of your hurt, habit or hang-up, Celebrate Recovery can point you in the direction of hope and healing, Jesus Christ, who wants to set you free from the bondage.

Celebrate Recovery Suppot Groups meet on Friday evenings at 6:30pm on the Matthews Campus of Team Church. Pre-registration is not required... feel free to drop by. These groups are open to all people in the community looking for help. Support Groups are available for Men and Women.

Childcare is available. Please contact us in advance to let us know the number of kids and ages you will bring with you so we can best care for your kids. Email celebraterecovery@teamchurch.com.

Should You Attend?
Some wonder if they have a problem big enough to justify attending. Here are some tips to help:

Visit on a Friday night.
This is a great way to see what we offer. You will feel
welcome and no one will push you to share openly or
tell more about yourself than you would like.

Attend the Newcomers class during Small Group time.
Here you will learn the details of how the program
actually works. This is a one-time only class.

Read the Problem and Solution handouts.
These are located on our literature table on
Friday nights. See if any of these issues describe
how you feel.

Women's Step Study

Women's Step Study meets at Team Church on Monday nights from 6-8pm

In this Step Study, you will work through the 12 steps in order, answering the questions in the participants guides and really looking at yourself and your own personal struggles from a Christ centered, Biblical perspective. Every lesson and set of questions contains scriptures to back up the principles of the program (based on the beatitudes), and every lesson points to Christ for true healing. The Step Study is meant to supplement the regular Friday night meetings, is a big weekly commitment (takes almost 1 year to complete the study program), and comes with a high level of accountability from others in the group. This study is gender specific, and currently we only offer a women's group. If you would like more information on how you can participate in this study, visit Celebrate Recovery on a Friday night or email celebraterecovery@teamchurch.com
