A place to gather women and share a simple meal and dive deep with people over real stories and Christ centered conversations. A time for a whole lot of laughter – and maybe a few tears – but time spent that leaves us with glad hearts. Full hearts. Grateful hearts.

This is an opportunity to continue our mission of "Doing Life Together."

Ladies, you are invited to join the IF:Table on Saturday, March 25 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. During our time together, we will share a simple meal, discuss questions and practice Acts 2:42:

"They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer."

Your host will prepare a meal. We ask you contribute $5 to help cover the costs.

We hope you will sit down and join the IF:Table. And invite your friends!

At IF:Gathering 2017, we’ll look at one of the most influential generations that have ever lived — the early church. The way God moved through them was simple and pure. We believe they are the model we need right now. Our dream is that we would experience the power of God as He does big things through simple acts of faith. That we live unified, surrendered to God, not just in our minds and in our theology, but also in our daily lives. Our hope is that we would participate with the Spirit of God and see Him go forth in our generation in a most powerful way.

Make time for this event and invite your friends to come along. Register today:

My wife and I have a sweet tooth. Actually, I should say we have multiple sweet teeth! But did you know that you can’t have a sweet tooth for something that doesn’t exist? Or think of it this way, if you’ve ever been really thirsty for water or soda or whatever and then you take a sip… oh man… the feeling you get from that! You don’t crave it though, if it doesn’t exist.

Christ is the same way. Whatever you hunger for in Christ, is a testimony that it exists. So ask, and it will be given to you. We know this is true because when we receive that refreshment of the Spirit of the Lord, we can trace the path of the gift back to the Father and learn about His nature and how He works. He really wants us to desire him. He wants us to develop a sweet tooth for the manifestation of the presence of the Holy Spirit.

We can read into the intent of the heart of God by looking at the gift of His Son, Jesus. Jesus died so that we might know the Lord personally. And because of the blood of Jesus, when we step into the presence and glory of God, He sees us as Jesus. He sees us as a son and daughter. In those moments of exposure to the presence of God He gives us the fulfilment of our desires and dreams. He does it because his intent is to sustain and fill us with His presence so much so that we crave it and we build a need for it in our lives. The only way to reach the new level of spiritual high is to spend more time in the exposure of his presence.

Imagine it this way too, there are two people and one has known the Lord for 30 years and the other for 2 years. If the one who has known the Lord for 30 years spends 5-10 minutes in the exposure of Gods presence a day and the one who has known the Lord for two years spends 30 minutes a day in the presence of the Lord, who will have the greater hunger? The one who has only known the Lord for 2 years, because that person has had a greater and more prolonged exposure to the presence of the glory of God.

So what keeps us from developing a greater hunger for God? Idolatry and adultery. Idolatry is seen is scripture as a spiritual betrayal of devotion and adultery is seen as a physical betrayal of that devotion. Denial of both idolatry and adultery are necessary in order to develop the pure hunger for the presence of God. Idolatry is the quick fix. Adultery is the quick answer to problems. The prolonged effect of idolatry and adultery is poison to our soul and spirit. The greatest commandment is to love God with your full heart, full soul, full mind, and full strength. To build a hunger for the Lord means to give him all parts of heart, soul, mind and strength.

God, give us grace to better understand your presence. Help us to learn how to hunger for your greatness and glory. Let us be people who bring you FULL devotion. You deserve it. And because of Your Son, Jesus, WE too deserve to know what it’s like to know you fully. Thank you, Amen.
